About Me

My background

My name is Janera Smith. I am born and raised in metro Atlanta in Georgia. I am an alumni from the University of West Georgia with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. The reason why I chose this major is that I wanted to learn how to create and produce programs that will benefit society in the future. Outside of school, I currently work as a Front Office Specialist at a doctor's office. My goal is to obtain a profession from a future employer that accepts software developers and/or SQL developers. I do also want to start making websites for others to have based on their interests and dreams.      
I have hobbies that I like do in my leisure time. I enjoy listening to music, bowling, playing video games, crocheting, cosplaying animated characters, spending time with my friends and family, and taking pictures. I also enjoy learning the concepts of math. I hope in the future that everyone enjoys and learns something from the new programming creations that I will come up with. I plan to design programs that will be educational or entertaining for young and adult viewers. With the right and positive mindset, I hope to achieve my goals and establish new skills.
